Jessica, your light is shining brightly here in the algorithmic world. I think of you as a beacon, a lighthouse if you will. Sometimes a danger alarm. Most times a guide for those of us in need of truth and comfort. I cherish our connection.
Oh Anna, I wish I could give you more hearts/likes. You're so generous with your approval and words of appreciation, it humbles me. Thank you from the depths of my heart. 💖💖💖💖💖
i was very into the non-violent movement when i was younger / very influenced by gandhi and martin luther king jr / thoreau also / that eventually evolved into a less idealistic but more practical approach - finding personal peace / light my candle so to say and if there is another candle light around light that one too / none of the political revolutions will work until people light their candles / that's what i think
I guess it comes down to "One has to change oneself before one can change the world". I didn't get any further than that so far. Lighting a candle is a nice analogy.

i love that analogy / on a dark dark night one single candle light shining out is a beautiful thing
So great, all of this, Jessica. Hearing about your mother leaving 1/2 her worldly goods behind. That was such hard years. Very touching, thanks.
Thanks, Wes. I never got along with my mother, but now that I'm old I give her some slack. Parts of her life were pretty difficult.
It is strange how, as we age, we become much more forgiving of certain things and, speaking for myself, much less forgiving of other traits.
