Thank YOU, Mary! I love my daughter and have no problem with moving to MA, it's just the timing. The "friend" who bought my house is turning it into something akin to vacation homes, and I hate being FORCED to move. Especially because two of my dogs can't come along.
Yes, I would feel the same way. How very disappointing to be treated like that by a "friend." And to have to leave your dogs behind must be heart-breaking!
We have had similar experiences living in NM. Both home places are hard for us to leave. MA is lovely and mostly liberal, so I suspect your further adventures will make great posts! TX sucks. There, I have to remind myself of that often. Only love and light for you on the road. Bless your heart ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Anna! Yes, I expect a wonderful and adventurous time in MA, I love being with my daughter. It's just getting from A to B -- right now, it looks like a mountain I can't scale. And I agree about TX! But I know there are many decent people, too. Love and blessings to you!
Thank you, Olivier -- yes, I'll enjoy living in MA; being at sea level and close to the ocean will be interesting after 23 years of 7,000 feet-low oxygen air 😉. By all means, visit northern NM, the beauty will take your breath away! I appreciate all your good wishes; I feel a bit overwhelmed by everything I still have to do, so this helps.
i hope you're not sad to leave your new mexico home / i'm grateful for the retrospect / alot of things i never would have seen / alot of things i never would have thought about
now i know what a hoodoo is
i was just reading about 'the bookstore' in lenox massachusetts / i told my FB friends that i felt i belonged in the NE or the PNW but find myself deep in the heart of texas
aw - I bet you'll visit again - I know not the same thing but still fun,
-Zoe
And I know that MA is very beautiful and I'll have a lot of fun. 😍
Good luck, Jessica, with your move. I know you will miss NM, but how nice it will be to live near your daughter!
Thanks so much for all your contributions to your community! I'll continue to look forward to your posts.🌻

Thanks for those photo memories...and best of luck going forward, Jessica.
I look forward to continuing to follow along as you uncover your new future!
Thank you, Jack -- I'm looking forward to posting more regularly again, and about he topics I mean to write about; less about personal stuff.
Hi Jessica. In my country (France) they say that "the only constant in life is change"... 😊
I trust you will find a lovely place in MA which is a good state to live, I have been many times there from Northampton (West) to Boston.
Have a very good and safe drive.
Thank you for the stunning pics of New Mexico you posted today, now to visit NM is on my bucket list !
I bet you are very busy packing. Please keep posting when you have time. I wish you the very best in your new life plan.
