It is not a tad disturbing, it is hugely disturbing and terrifying and f*$#ing awful. I don't know if were will be able to stop him before the next interim election when he will likely be presiding over at least one house of congress no longer maga. It is at that time, I believe, that he will exert his greatest force to nullify the elections, keep his majorities in Congress and set about rewriting the constitution.
Yes, that was a deliberate understatement... Add to that all the environmental threats; arctic ice melting, ocean water warming, rainforests cut down, wildfires, tornadoes and hurricanes... It doesn't look good.

I did hear something recently about the ice cap being quite large this year, did you read that as well?
