Why you should subscribe:

When you subscribe, you get full access to the weekly newsletter. My essays cover many topics ranging from a healthy planet to a healthy diet/lifestyle to animal rights to more philosophic ideas about being truly connected to everything around you… If meat or fish is part of your diet, I attempt to gently persuade you to eat less or eliminate it altogether. Same with dairy. If you’re already vegan or vegetarian, you’ll find plenty of interesting articles plus several great recipes.

Over time and after several months of writing here, my personal life has snuck in a bit. I’m alright with this because former travels, events from the past, my animal companions, and so on have shaped who I am today. After all, connectedness doesn’t leave out anything at all.

I became vegan over 20 years ago, after many more years as a vegetarian. Being vegan changed me; I am more in touch with animals, trees, bugs, clouds — the living world around me. I believe that most people like or even love animals, and it makes me sad when I encounter this weird cognitive disconnect — people cherish their cats but eat cute bunnies. They protest about Korean dog eaters, but eat calves and pigs. Maybe the right info will help them to think more clearly? I hope so.

My articles are free, but if you like it, please consider a paid subscription — $5/month.
